Ace Pass Explained
Ace Combat 8 has three seasonal progression options: a free Ace Pass, a paid Premium Ace Pass, and Premium Ace Pass Plus, which adds a 30-level skip. Deluxe Edition includes a Premium Plus voucher, but both paid tiers can also be purchased separately.

What the Ace Pass changes
The pass is a seasonal progression system rather than the mission DLC-style Season Pass used by Ace Combat 7. Bandai Namco says rewards include playable aircraft, cosmetic items, and items used to upgrade aircraft. The publisher has not yet released a complete Season 1 reward table, XP curve, season length, or individual tier prices.
Is Deluxe worth it for the pass?
Deluxe is the simplest route if you already want its three days of early access and cosmetic set. If you only care about pass rewards, the official FAQ confirms that paid tiers can be bought separately, so you do not need Deluxe solely to access Premium. Wait for standalone pricing and the complete reward track before comparing exact value.
Morgan–PIXY and Season 1
The ADFX-02 Morgan–PIXY is officially described as a Season 1 exclusive in the Premium track. “Exclusive” identifies its Season 1 pass placement; it does not tell us whether the aircraft can return later. The site will not label it permanently missable unless Bandai Namco publishes that restriction.
